Born in Quebec, Nicole is 63 years old. She has worked most of her professional life for women's equality groups. Founder of "la source" an association for single parents and a women's shelter in Victoriaville. She also founded the first centre for people going through separation and divorce at the Arthabaska court. She also helped found two shelters for youth in that region.She has set up and developed '"la societe d'arthrite" in the urban centres of The Mauricie-bois-Francs-Drummond and Abitibi and worked as its regional director for 11 years.
She came to Alberta in 1997 and worked for the French Canadian association of Alberta as director. She founded the cine-club, a space for young artists, a monthly journal. She helped establish the centre d'acceuil, the first francophone immigrant welcome centre in Edmonton. Co-founder of Ubuntu Edmonton , she now works with widows of the Genocide in a small community on the outskirts of Kigali.
